*** 21.2 AFD @ 4 years of age.
*** Rare harlequin Grey color
*** Her father is champion harlequin grey Hot Shot
*** NGG Lional and P. Bueno in her pedigree.
*** Excellent mom.

This lady is rare. She has been in our foundation herd for 4 years now - but we have decided that we will be keeping her daughter, Calleen - and the herd must stay small. So here she is - priced to sell!

"Cindy" is the unusual Harlequin rose gray coloration of her father, Tell Hot Shot. Born fawn, she turned very dark gray. Harlequins often throw black as well.

She has very high luster and exceptional staple length. She has stayed fine with a lovely handle on her current fleece.
Hot Shot's dad is the famous NGG Lional - owned by Sunset Hills Alpacas. Lional's dad is the one and only P. Bueno. Her pedigree is stacked.

Cinderella delivered a stunning light to medium rose gray Avatar son, Elvis, that is now a Junior Herd Sire for Alpacas De La Mancha in Colorado - he is beautiful.
She was then bred to NeverSummer's Billabong - of the same "harlequin grey" color gene that Cinderella has. Plus he is incredibly dense, crimpy and typey - truly exceptional regardless of his color.
Cinderella and Billabong gave us an incredible little girl "Caleen" - She is extreme. Typey Typey Typey. Crimpy, dense, compact, big boned, super coverage, long, high luster fleece.

Don't miss out - Cinderella is now priced at $7,000 with 20% down and 2 years to pay (zero interest) -
or choose 20% off for a cash sale of $5,600.

Special American Idol. Idol has 2 Championships, 3 Firsts and a 2nd place so far in his show career.
Idol also brought home a Blue from the Nationals in 2007 - Like Mother, Like Son!

At this time, Pie has a very nice handling fleece with high luster and soft crimp. She also has good density.

She is a Very heavy boned girl with excellent coverage as well. Strong and sturdy! She has an independent personality, but will follow you anywhere for a handful of pellets.

You can see Ava is the spitting image of her daddy. And he gave her his fleece too.
See her histogram results at lower left - Avatar's Stamp of that Super CV plus Super Fineness - what's not to love about his kids fleeces.

At the 2007 ABR FallFest Fleece Show, Ava took second and Reserve Champion gray - in a combined male and female fleece show. The Champion? We were so happy to see it was NeverSummer Alpacas' 38 Special - a male we had picked as our top choice for breeding to our Avatar daughters. We have bred our newest purchase "Cloe" to 38 - we are so excited to meet her new baby this year.

Ava's first cria, Avadawn - from Crescent Moon's ATV Adonnis - is hours old in the pcture above.
Avadawn is soooo soft, and excellent in conformation with presence too. Congratulations to her new owners, Red Ghost Alpacas.

This little lady is one of the Very best. Super typey, a sweet little imp always in the middle of what's going on. And What a Fleece - I couldn't stop myself from putting my hands into it every chance I had after she was born - one of the Very Softest Handling fleeces I have Ever felt. Combine that with wonderful density and high frequency crimp - she's a winner.

WOW - Look at her histogram at lower left - simply stunning. Which is what the judge commented when giving her the National brown Fleece Color Championship in Louisville 2007. And now we can really see why we love this fleece - the combination of an AFD of 17.7 with a CV of 13 -
There's that Avatar Stamp - super fine with a phenomenal CV.

At the 2007 Fall Festival Fleece Show Appeline also won blue in a class of 6 - and we were pleased to see the Championship was given to her medium brown 1/2 sister, Kokopelli's Song Topeka, another Avatar daughter that has won numerous Championships.

In halter Appeline has won blue at the 2007 GWAS, and Reserve Champion at the 2008 SWRAS - and then won the Blue in the Bred & Owned yearling female class.

Appeline delivered a gorgeous little dark maroon girl from her breeding to Black Icecapade - we are excited about that baby - she is exceptional. See her listing - soon to come - Delphi's Brina.
Appeline is now breeding to the phenomenal .38 Special -
The best bred to the best.

Delphi's Cotopaxi

SOLD!

Medium Brown
DOB:  9/22/2008
Dam:  WM Terra - 1/4 Accoyo Medium Fawn
Sire:  Avatar - Multi-Champion Rose Grey
Fiber assessment:
5-09: AFD 20.0 / SD 3.8 / CV 18.9 / >30 = 1.2%
Price: Congratulations to Andy & Gigi Winniewicz of Windmill Haven Alpacas!

Here's Terra & Avatar's son, Cotopaxi. He's growing up sooooo studly -
excellent conformation, very typey, super dense and crimpy, with a handle and fineness his daddy would be proud of.

His Maternal sister has won a Color Championship for her fawn fleece, as well as best brightness over all. She was then awarded a Blue at the World Fleece Show - class of 12 - which included the 2009 Fawn Futurity Color Champion.

His Paternal siblings have a whole web page devoted to them - (see Avatar's Super Star page on this site).

At his first show at 6 months and a few days of age - Cotopaxi won a second place (with a hard look for first ;^) at MOPACA 2009, class of 5. A great start for this young guy - he gets better every day.

Heart of the Mountain Misty Rose

Medium Rose Gray
ARI#: 830140
DOB:  07/07/2001
Dam:  Silver Melody
Sire:  Peruvian Oro
Breeding: Toledo - Due August 2010
Fiber assessment:
2009: AFD 25.2 / SD 5.1 / CV 20.0 / 11.4% >30

6-9-2010: AFD 25.4 / SD 4.5 / CV 17.9 / 10.9% >30

Price: $5600 includes her Baby due this summer

** Daughter of Peruvian Oro
** Mother of Champion Spark - Look at his Monster Fleece pictured above!!! One of the best I have Ever seen/felt.
** $5600 includes her Baby due this summer
** Or choose to pay only $5000 for Rose alone, re bred to either Toledo or Zeppelin.

Rose has given us a gorgeous white daughter of Christopher B, Nora Cloud, that we are keeping and breeding to Zeppelin this summer. Nora has a superb fleece and we think she'll give us extreme high quality offspring. Rose is a daughter of Peruvian Oro - which makes her Avatar's aunt. We have bred Rose to our silver Champion MFI Toledo - a great match that should give us a beautiful grey baby.

Rose is a tall stretchy girl with correct conformation and bite. Her fleece is very soft with high frequency crimp present. Rose is the mother of one of Champion Alpacas' best Christopher B sons, Champion's Spark (see Spark's fleece pic above). Spark helped win Get of Sire classes for his dad - and his absolutely stunning, high frequency, high amplitude, zipper crimp on a super fine fleece is what sold his mom to us. Looking at her fleece samples we could see traces of that same fleece style in her as well.

This girl makes great babies! We are very excited about her Toledo baby coming in August. We have her listed at $7,000 - with 20% down and 2 year financing at zero percent.
Or take 20% off for a cash sale of $5,600. This price includes her baby due this summer.

Or If you would like to lock in on the purchase of Rose at a Reduced Rate - we also offer the option of purchasing her without her baby this summer. We will board her until the baby is weaned, and rebreed her to Toledo or Zeppelin, all for $5,000 financed, or $4,000 for a cash purchase. This girl can produce the crias you are looking for.

Sire:  Avatar - Multi-Champion Rose Grey
Fiber assessment:
6-9-2010:
AFD 20.7 / SD 3.5 / CV 17.0 / 0.6% >30
Price: $7200 cash price

**Kai is the Reserve Color Champ at TxOLAN of 43 brown males**
It is so unusual for a juvenile (7 month old) Dark Brown to get a brown championship against the light browns and yearlings - we were thrilled! The judge simply fell in love with Kai, and who wouldn't.

Kallari (pronounced Kai-yari) is a very exciting Avatar kid. Kallari is the name of a South American chocolate company - and it means "new beginning".
Kai is full brother to Champion and Futurity Blue Ribbon winner "Gilded Lilac", now owned by Skyline Alpacas. Kai is very different - but just as wonderful! Super dense, thick curls with very little apparent guard hair and that slick handle we love to see. Plus he is very fine with gorgeous crimp. Add to that his sweet easy going "all boy" attitude, and what more could you ask for?
With his silver grey mom, we think he could work into a black / silver program well (maybe Ours!) -
carrying Avatar's awesome fleece to the dark side.
;^)

Kai is growing up to be an exciting guy.
We would like to retain one breeding to this male when he is sold.
Lock in now at the price of $9,000 - and put just 20% down with 2 years to pay at zero percent interest -
Or, take 20% off for a cash purchase of just $7,200.

Price: SOLD

Here's the oldest of Delphi's Class of 2008's Avatar kids - and the star, Lilac. She will be such fun to show - she is completely correct, has style and type and presence too. Plus - here's a picture of her fleece as of 10-6-08 - (3 1/2 mos. old). It's just getting that nice definition we love to see. It's super fine with the handle and lack of guard hair that are Avatar's trademark too.

Her mom is our beloved Gilda Gray, silver daughter of 1/2 Accoyo black Penumbra, one of our foundation herd sires. Gilda has a blue ribbon fleece and completely correct conformation herself - she's one of Delphi's gems.

Now if you get a chance to meet Lilac in person you'll understand why there's no price here . . . .
she has her mommy Gilda's personality - just an absolute doll. Yeah we might sell her - but let's just say I try NOT to think about it every chance I get. ;^)
You just can't get too many of these little girls!

Lilac has been sold - Congratulations to her new owner, Mary Jaffe of Skyline Alpacas!

Delphi's Darby

Price: Congratulations to Andy & Gigi Winniewicz of Windmill Haven Alpacas!

Correct and strong and straight from day one, Darby has an adorable head, extremely fine fleece, very crimpy with high luster.

Her mom Darcy did great as a first time mom - easy delivery and plenty of milk - as we would expect from her family line.

With a black mom we think this little girl would go great with Toledo (silver champion) or Zeppelin!
But hey - she just got here.
;^)

She could easily kick our butts at the shows next year - but we'll be absolutely thrilled to see it.

We have changed our price schedule to give our customers more options. We have reduced our listing prices on maidens, and no longer include a free breeding. You aren't paying for a breeding that you may or may not want.
